Ultimate Frisbee

Ultimate Frisbee All players must remain in their end zone until the pull is thrown. At the start of the game, a toss decides which team throws the first pull. After a goal is scored, play stops. The team that scored stays in that end zone and throws the pull and becomes the defensive team. Things needed to play:     Frisbee     Players: 4 to 18 Gameplay Steps     Starting the Game                      Teams line up at their respective end zones.             The defense throws (“pulls”) the frisbee to the offense to start.                   Movement                      Players cannot run while holding the frisbee.             Advance by passing to teammates.             Pivoting on one foot is allowed while holding the frisbee.                   Scoring                      A point is scored when a player catches the frisbee in the opposing team’s end zone.                   Turnovers                      Occur when the frisbee is dropped, intercepted, thrown out of bounds, or not caught within 10 seconds (stall count).             The opposing team immediately takes possession where the turnover occurred.               […]

Chalkos

Chalkos Similar to the game of horse played with a basketball. One target area was determined for where the individual would jump. Each player creates a different-sized O with their chalk and then attempts to jump into the circle. Things needed to play:     Chalk     Players: 2 to 10     Determine a place to jump from.     Draw circles of varying width to see if you can jump in them without falling.     Earn a letter if you miss.     You are out when you get to Chalko. When I was a wee lass I would draw circles on the ground then try to jump in them. Mary and Hannah and I would draw different sized O’s on the sidewalk, and whoever could confidently jump in them without falling out won.
